Once ready we then lightly apply the laser treatment this will have a gentle warming effect. The laser heats the carbon mask and so warms the skin below, the effect is like microdermabrasion in that it exfoliates the skin. But, as an additional benefit the energy also helps to break up any pigmentation, smoothing any colour tone anomalies. It also stimulates natural collagen production to improve the look, reducing lines and wrinkles. The Carbon facial is a gentle but very effective treatment with little irritation since there are no harsh scrubbing actions.
