Compared to traditional IPL and laser hair reduction treatments, SHR is faster, easier and and virtually pain free and works for all skin types and hair colours. SHR uses the latest technology and is proven to be the safest method of hair reduction for all skin types. It uses a combination of RF and light to warm the skin & sub layer then a rapid sequence of low energy pulses target the hair follicle. This traumatises and destroys the root preventing re-growth without causing damage to the surrounding skin. Before any Treatment the following is important: The area to be treated is to be clean and free of any oils, lotions and deodorants etc. Shaving is required within 24 hours of the treatment Minimise exposure to the sun for around 2 weeks before treatment Avoid any self tanning products for several days before treatment Avoid bleaching, plucking, waxing and epilation for 6 weeks beforehand Treatment times vary depending upon the area. The duration time is roughly between 15-40 minutes. There's no recovery time needed so once complete you're good to go. The first appointment will be a patch test and consultation.
